WHO: High school students (entering 9th through current 12th graders)
WHEN: 1 week sessions, (with a total of 9 possible weeks total) beginning Monday, June 1 through Friday, July 31. Register for 1 week, 2 weeks, or more!
HOW: The teaching and learning process will be done through written communication. Each day students will receive a dialogue practice prompt from Mr. Marcus role playing as a different member of society (professor, co-worker, family member, recruiter, etc.). Students respond to the prompt as though it were a real-life situation. Mr. Marcus then evaluates each student’s response and provides reflection and suggestions, with the goal of teaching students how to be more effective communicators!
Students also have the opportunity to meet 1:1 by phone or video for questions, clarification, or help with an assignment. Meetings can be requested by text or email, and will be scheduled between the hours 9a-4p with 1-day advance notice.
FEES: $150/week for 3 sessions (M/W/F) OR $200/week for 5 sessions (M-F)
