OTA 3rd grader, Ella Morelli, recently spoke before the AZ state legislature on behalf of SB 1461 (signed into law on 3/26/15!) which provides greater support for students with reading impairments, including dyslexia. (Watch Ella's speech on YouTube!) In addition to her political efforts ;) Ella is an accomplished skater and actor.

Also instrumental in getting SB 1461 passed, Grace Taskinsoy (who attends Scottsdale Prep), has been a long-time On-Track Tutoring student. Grace is the perfect illustration of the success that students with dyslexia can achieve when given the right education, tools and resources. Go Grace!

Ms. Dana, OTA's Head of School, has agreed to drink toilet water! What?! You read it right… If the kids raise $1500 for the amazing organization, WaterIsLife, and our adopted village in North Ghana, Ms. Dana will drink toilet water—through a WaterIsLife filter straw, of course! If you want to join in the fun, you help us by donating to this amazing cause! (See Ms. Liz at the front desk :) ). UPDATE: we've surpassed our goal! Stay tuned for pics!

OTA Facts (& FAQs!)
Who are On-Track students?
Like our featured students to the left, OTA students are bright, capable kids who flourish in a structured, strengths-based, progressive, and positive learning environment. Most have been diagnosed with specific learning disabilities (such as dyslexia), attention deficits (ADD or ADHD), twice exceptionalities (giftedness in addition to other learning challenges), anxiety, or have other challenges that can make learning in traditional schools difficult. At On-Track Academy, students THRIVE!
